At the start of 2025, I did what most of us did: I declared, “This is my year.” I had the plans, the goals, the vision board, the calendar full of KPIs, campaigns, and launches. Everything looked precise- a marketing plan for life itself. But then life, as it usually does, decided to test the strategy.
It didn’t tear it apart, but it reshaped it. Gently at first, then more boldly. The year humbled expectations and replaced them with awareness. It turned out 2025 wasn’t the year of visibility I had imagined; it was the year of recalibration.
I used to believe growth was linear, like in marketing: more followers, more leads, more results. But real growth, I learned this year, often hides in the pauses, the pivots, and the quiet decisions no one sees. It lives in the moments when you don’t post, don’t announce, don’t measure – you just live, process, and reorient.
This year showed me new roads, not just new horizons. Some were more narrow, but better lit. Some led nowhere at first, until I realized they were guiding me inward, not forward. Not every path has to scale; some just have to make sense.
I didn’t write as much here, not because I ran out of things to say, but because I was doing other kinds of writing: internal drafts, mental notes, unspoken paragraphs. And yes, part of it was fear. Fear of judgment. Fear of not being “strategic enough” or “valuable enough” with every word I put out. Fear of being authentic in a world invaded by AI. When you work in marketing long enough, you start to think in messaging and perception, and you forget that sometimes, authenticity isn’t a product, it’s a process, is the sixth sense that no LLM or AI would ever have no matter how trained will be.
Authenticity is the key and will make the difference! ALWAYS!
Marketing teaches us to know our audience. This year, I learned to know myself as one. What do I need to hear? What do I respond to? What kind of storytelling converts my doubts into trust again? Where am I still trying to impress, instead of connect?
Professionally, 2025 also reminded me that strategy is not a rigid document, it is a living thing. The industry kept shifting, tools evolved, AI moved from “nice-to-have” to “infrastructure”, and behavior kept rewriting the rules in real time. The only sustainable advantage was not having the perfect plan, but having the courage to adjust it.
Flexibility is the key! But to adjust on the go? Knowledge is the essence!

So how will 2026 be? I don’t know. I don’t have a perfect roadmap or a 50-slide deck for it. What I do have is a different kind of clarity:
- To create more from truth, not pressure
- To treat my time and energy like premium ad space
- To test, learn, and iterate not just in campaigns, but in how I live
My strategy for 2026 is simple: trust the timing, execute with intention, and leave room for improvisation. To show up more, even when the copy in my head doesn’t feel “perfect” yet. To write here again, not because the algorithm demands it, but because expression is part of how I grow.
If 2025 knocked us down a bit, maybe it was just forcing a reset- a quiet, uncomfortable, necessary re-brief.
So here’s to 2026:
To softer launches and stronger foundations.
To being seen as we are, not just as we position ourselves to be.
To believing in ourselves the way we build brands: consistently, patiently, and with a long-term view.
Because when you have faith in yourself, everything else becomes a matter of strategy.
